La Fonteta as an extra engine to host a RETAbet Bilbao Basket & Rafa Martínez

Valencia Basket repeats in Fonteta less than two days after his victory against Panathinaikos to face RETAbet Bilbao Basket (Sunday 2, 20:00h, Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 1) in a Endesa League round 20 game that will mean the first return of the shooting guard Rafa Martínez to La Fonteta after his eleven seasons in our Club.

 

The Taronja team will have the support of its people to get that extra energy to compensate for the wear and tear of Friday's battle against an opponent who was the only one who imposed on all Euroleague teams in the Endesa League in the first leg of the Spanish league.

 

To try to extend his good streak as a local in national competition (chains six wins in a row and has not lost in the Fonteta in acb for almost three months), coach Jaume Ponsarnau will not have Sam Van Rossom and Jordan Loyd, while Mike Tobey is questionable though he faces the final stretch of his soleus injury recovery. Valencia Basket currently occupies the seventh position of the Endesa League, with a 10-9 in the standings.
